HALF-PRICE TICKET POLICY FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES (PWD)

1. Purpose

This Policy aims to establish the criteria and procedures for granting the half-price ticket benefit to People with Disabilities (PWD) at events promoted or organized by the company, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and promoting inclusion and accessibility for all attendees.

2. Legal Basis

The granting of half-price tickets for People with Disabilities shall comply with the provisions of:

  • Law No. 12,933/2013
  • Decree No. 8,537/2015
  • Law No. 13,146/2015 (Brazilian Law for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities)

Under the applicable legislation, People with Disabilities are entitled to pay 50% of the regular ticket price. This benefit may also be extended to one companion when assistance is required.

3. Eligible Beneficiaries

The following individuals are entitled to the half-price benefit:
I – People with Disabilities, as defined by the Brazilian Law for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities;
II – One companion of the Person with a Disability, when the need for assistance is duly demonstrated.
For the purposes of this Policy, a Person with a Disability is someone with a long-term physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory impairment that, in interaction with various barriers, may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.

4. Supporting Documentation

To receive the half-price ticket benefit, the beneficiary must present documentation proving their status as a Person with a Disability, including:

  • Social assistance benefit card (BPC/LOAS);
  • Transportation card for People with Disabilities;
  • Medical report or certificate;
  • Document issued by a public authority recognizing the person's disability status;
  • Identification card or official document identifying the Person with a Disability;
  • Official photo identification document;
  • The event organizer may request additional documentation if deemed necessary.

5. Companion Eligibility

When the condition of the Person with a Disability requires assistance for mobility, safety, or independence, the half-price ticket benefit shall also be granted to one companion.

The need for a companion may be indicated in:

  • the medical report or certificate;
  • the PWD identification card;
  • an equivalent official document.

6. Legal Limit

In accordance with applicable legislation, the granting of half-price tickets is subject to a maximum limit of 40% of the total number of tickets made available for the event. Once this limit has been reached, tickets may be sold at the full price.

7. Validation Procedure

Validation of the Person with a Disability and, where applicable, their companion, will take place:

  • at the time of ticket purchase;
  • during wristband collection;
  • upon entry to the event.

If valid documentation is not presented, payment of the difference to the full ticket price may be required.

8. Accessibility Guarantee

In addition to granting the half-price ticket benefit, the event organizer will seek to ensure appropriate accessibility conditions and priority assistance for People with Disabilities, including:

  • exclusive and facilitated access;
  • reserved areas;
  • accessible restrooms;
  • assisted service whenever necessary.

9. Personal and Non-Transferable Nature of the Ticket

Tickets purchased under the half-price benefit for People with Disabilities (PWD) are personal and non-transferable. Their assignment, transfer, or resale to third parties is strictly prohibited.
Use of the ticket is subject to the presentation of an official photo identification document and proof of the condition that qualified the holder for the benefit. The event organizer may verify this information upon entry to the event.
Any misuse, attempted transfer, or resale of the ticket will result in cancellation of the benefit and denial of entry to the event, without prejudice to any other applicable legal measures.
The companion's admission is conditional upon the admission of the Person with a Disability who is the ticket holder.

10. Prevention of Misuse

Improper use of the half-price ticket benefit may result in:

  • cancellation of the ticket;
  • payment of the difference to the full ticket price;
  • denial of entry to the event.

11. Final Provisions

This Policy forms part of the organization's institutional guidelines on inclusion and respect for diversity, reaffirming its commitment to promoting accessibility and equal opportunities.

Requests for the half-price ticket benefit for People with Disabilities must be submitted through our communication and customer service channels available on the website.
